Maison 4:3, Happy Camper Média and Radio-Canada are pleased to announce that the production of the animated feature film AGENT JEAN! : THE END OF WORLDS is launched! Created by Alex A., Agent Jean! celebrates its 15th anniversary this year! His universe will be brought to the big screen, in a feature film written by Alex A. and Robin Balzano, directed by Félix Larivière and co-produced by Renaud Sylvain and Félix Larivière for Happy Camper Média. Pier-Luc Funk will once again lend his voice to the character of Jean in this anticipated animated film, scheduled for release in fall 2027. The film will then be available on ICI TOU.TV EXTRA.
In 2011, with the launch of the first volume of the comic series L’Agent Jean!, published by Presses Aventure, a true love story was born between Alex A. and his admirers, young and old. Fifteen years later, Alex A. is now the author of an impressive number of comics. He skillfully pulls the strings of a large universe made up of interrelated stories which never cease to fascinate his readers and arouse in them the pleasure of reading. The comic book series alone has sold more than 1.7 million copies.
In 2018, Agent Jean! experienced its first television broadcast on Radio-Canada, and won 4 Gémeaux awards in the “Best animated series” category in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Since fall 2025, L’Agent Jean! has its own digital streaming channel, available on ICI.TOU.TV. Broadcast nationally and internationally (Radio-Canada, CBC, Canal + Africa), the multiplatform animated series L’Agent Jean! is also available in podcasts, audiobooks and interactive games on the web.
