Marilyn Brassard : une entrepreneure sociale porte le trident d’AtlanteA

Recipient of the Lys for Diversity at the provincial level with the ChicEtniK Fashion ShoW, a local entrepreneur proudly wears the trident of the AtlanteA Gala in Roberval. Marilyn Brassard has worked for twenty years with cultural communities in communication, project management and training. Holder of a multidisciplinary baccalaureate, she worked as a freelance journalist and consultant in Quebec and the Metropolis.

On her return to Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, she initiated the first ChicEtniK Fashion ShoW in 2017, surrounded by a multicultural team. The following year, the entrepreneur collaborated with designers, local and international suppliers and sold out, once again, for this multicultural fashion event.

“This evening is a moment where people are brought together by a common interest, in this case fashion and tradition, it is an excellent starting point to open up to diversity,” continues the director.

AtlanteA refers to what characterizes the people of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean the waterways with a nod to mythology. It is also the scientific name for a butterfly.AtlanteA is in its third edition in the region and just like the butterfly, it is called to travel to bring out talents while bringing people together around beauty.
