The Resource and Intervention Center for sexually abused men and those around them (CRIPHASE) is proud to announce the launch of the very first support guide specifically designed for men who have experienced sexual abuse, whether during childhood, adolescence or adulthood.

This unique tool aims to break the silence, inform and support men in their journey of understanding and reclaiming their power. It was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Department of Justice Canada.

An essential tool to better understand and support Designed as an accessible and caring first step, the guide offers a clear, human and non-judgmental approach. It addresses in particular: * The often invisible realities of men who have experienced sexual abuse * The persistent myths surrounding sexual violence * The psychological, physical and relational impacts of trauma * Concrete ways to seek help and begin a journey * The rights and resources available

Breaking the silence and joining men “We designed this guide as a gateway: a simple, accessible tool that allows you to better understand what you have experienced and to consider avenues for the future. It can be consulted at your own pace, according to your needs. It’s a first step to break isolation and begin a journey,” says Martine Poirier, general director of CRIPHASE.
