
Award-winning artist Kelly Bado will release her new single, « Jamais oublier, » on July 27. A remix of a standout track from her latest album, Belles âmes, the release follows a remarkable year of recognition. On June 30, 2026, Bado received the Kevin Walters Memorial Songwriter Award, and in 2025, she was named Global Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards.
Born in Côte d’Ivoire and now based in Manitoba, Kelly Bado has established herself as a powerful ambassador for musical diversity. Through her distinctive repertoire, she builds bridges across generations, regions, and musical genres with every performance. A breakout star of the sixth season of La Voix Québec, she won the Audience Choice Award. Following her memorable duet of « Let It Be » with Yama Laurent, Sir Paul McCartney praised the performance. Since then, Kelly has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists including Alessia Cara, Walk Off the Earth, Lisa Leblanc and has opened for music icon Angélique Kidjo.

Fresh from a successful tour of Japan, Kelly is currently touring Quebec, performing highlights from her acclaimed latest album, Belles Âmes. She is also preparing the release of her next album in 2027, which will feature collaborations between Canadian and Japanese artists.
Continuing her bold and innovative exploration of musical and cultural expression, Kelly’s upcoming English-language album is being produced in collaboration with Chin Injeti. Renowned for his work with DJ Khalil and productions for artists including Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Drake, Clipse, Eminem et Pink, Injeti has earned three Grammy Awards and a Juno Award throughout his distinguished career.
