Vital Distribution and Vital Productions are proud to unveil the first images of the feature-length documentary Un reversement, written and directed by Amélie Hardy (A Wolf in the Suburbs, Hello Stranger, Notes on Memory and Oblivion), which lifts the veil on the behind-the-scenes of women’s politics.
Through the intimate and unfiltered testimonies of emblematic Quebec political figures such as Pauline Marois, Louise Harel, Monique Jérôme-Forget, Françoise David, Manon Massé, Véronique Hivon, Marwah Rizqy, Émilie Foster, Catherine Fournier, France Bélisle, Marjolaine Étienne and Jocelyne Richer, the film reveals the obstacles, struggles and power struggles that mark their journey, while highlighting those who, despite resistance, open new paths and redefine the contours of power.
A Reversal will be screened as a world premiere at the opening of the 15th edition of the Quebec City Cinema Festival (FCVQ) on Wednesday, September 9 at the Le Diamant theater, in the presence of the director and several members of the film team. Distributed by Vital Distribution, it will be on display in Quebec from September 11.
