This season, the Maison Théâtre invites you to broaden your horizons. The artists had a blast with the forms, it will rain on stage, we will follow a little girl step by step in her marvelous swamp, it will be teeming with puppets of all kinds for young and old. ROADTRIP – From September 28 to October 11, 2026 / From 12 months to 4 years A production of Les Incomplètes Ideation and stage writing: Audrey Marchand and Laurence P. Lafaille, in collaboration with the designers. Roadtrip is an immersive performance inspired by the road movie and the concert film, combining voice, sound, video and performative action. Installed around a road crossed by the artists, the public discovers Quebec landscapes projected all around the stage space, from the grandiose to the tiny. Between offbeat songs and sensory exploration, the show invites listening, curiosity and a change of scenery, the time of a shared journey.
RENARD DOUX – October 13 to 18, 2026 / From 4 to 8 years oldA production by Sylvie GosselinText and interpretation: Sylvie GosselinDirected by: Sylvie Gosselin, with the help ofLuc PrairieRenard Doux recounts a tender moment of life between a grandmother and her granddaughter, united by stories and crafts. OISEAU tells the story of the revolt of young people who, faced with the loss of a loved one, question the silence of adults around death and mourning. At school, they trigger a real revolution to give a place to those who have passed away. Carried by two powerful actresses, this sensitive and daring creation addresses the spirituality, speech and intelligence of children with great delicacy.

Text and direction: Hélène Ducharme Dramaturgical advisor: Hamadoun Kassogué Baobab is an initiatory tale inspired by African traditions where Amondo, a boy born from the baobab tree, must go through four trials to bring water back to the earth. Guided by a griot, he undertakes a quest punctuated by music and mysteries. On stage, balafon, kora and djembe transform the landscapes and characters, offering a lively, musical and captivating show, celebrating courage and the transmission of tales.

The show highlights the destiny of these exploited children, entrusted to marabouts. Carried by objects, puppets and music, this sensitive and impactful creation gives voice to those who are rarely heard and questions the excesses of traditions.
THE BABY TYLER SHOW – Feb. 22 to 28 2027 / From 6 to 12 years old A production of SNAFU Society of Unexpeted Spectacles Director: Britt Small Text: Ingrid Hansen and Britt Small The Baby Tyler Show combines miniature universes, live camera and animated objects to create a real animated film on stage. The artist Ingrid Hansen brings to life a crazy world where everything becomes possible. We notably follow Baby Tyler, who tries to survive in a world of “grown-ups” thanks to his superpowers, alongside absurd and poetic characters. An inventive and offbeat visual experience, full of illusions and surprises.
MY FIRE TALE – BY BIKE BETWEEN THE FALLING BOMBS – March 6 to 9, 2027 / From 10 to 17 years old A production of the Théâtre de la Pire Espèce Text and direction: Francis Monty Story inspired by texts from the diary of Felix Mirbt war, at the heart of a world in ruins where the animals of the Berlin zoo have escaped. Carried by shadow theater, masks and objects, the show follows Félix’s quest for survival and inner growth in a universe that is both chaotic and deeply human.
POUR MAËLLE – March 21 to 25, 2027 / Ages 14 to 17A production by Théâtre EverestText:Ahmad HamdanDirector:Myriam FugèrePour Maëlle follows Ali, a young man from a modest background who falls in love with a bourgeois pianist and tries to adapt to a world that is not his. Between learning social codes and the desire to climb, he confronts the limits of class determinism. Anchored in today’s Montreal, the show addresses social inequalities and the question of what “changing condition” means with humor and lucidity.
REDOING THE MARGUERITE – March 30 to April 4, 2027 / From 7 to 12 years old A production of L’eau du bain Creation and performance: Anne-Marie Ouellet, Inès Sinou, Jeanne Sinou and Thomas Sinou Remaking the Marguerite transforms a damaged theater into a living space where a family collects the water seeping from the ceiling. Between funny situations and poetic actions, each escape becomes the heart of an unpredictable musical and theatrical performance.
EVERYONE IS SEARCHING FOR HIS HAT – April 12 to 25, 2027 / Ages 4 to 8 A production by Nuages en pants – creative company Based on the books by Jon Klassen, published by Candlewick Press I Want My Hat Back, This Is Not My Hat, We Found a Hat. Everyone is looking for their hat features three animal stories around the same coveted object. Between quests, pursuits and dilemmas, these mischievous fables play with the notions of justice and desire. Carried by the puppet, the show combines humor and finesse to provoke reflection and discussion.
9.2 – May 3 to 9, 2027 / Ages 8 to 12 A production by Cas Public Artistic direction: Hélène Blackburn and Cai Glover Choreography: Hélène Blackburn in collaboration with Cai Glover 9.2 is a powerful dance performance that explores our way of inhabiting the world, with or without hearing, in dialogue with Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Carried by five performers, this visual and vibrant offers a sensitive reflection on the senses, perceptions and inclusion.
MONSIEUR NICOLAS AND THE MOON – May 11 to 30, 2027 / From 5 to 10 years oldA production of the Théâtre de l’ŒilText:François ArchambaultDirector:Simon BoudreaultMonsieur Nicolas et la lune follows Dorice, a young cat who sets off in search of the meaning of success after hearing that one can “fail in life”. Accompanied by Hector, she goes through different life journeys and discovers other ways of looking at the world. Carried by a world of puppets and moving sets, the show sensitively addresses mourning, connections and the value of small everyday moments.
ORYZA – June 9 to 20, 2027 / From 2 ½ to 5 years old A production of the Théâtre des Petites Âmes Ideation and creation: Isabelle Payant In collaboration with Noémie Godin-Vigneau, Delphine Ricard and Cleo Da Fonseca ORYZA pays tribute to the Gleaners of Millet through three women who transform rice into play, rhythm and life. Between harvest, rituals and imagination, they make the seasons evolve in a poetic and sensory universe. A delicate and musical show, designed for little ones, which unfolds its visual and sound treasures with gentleness and enchantment.
