It was “the Select evening” Sunday evening at the Salle Pauline-Julien in Montreal on the occasion of the first edition of “Women & Dialogue, Cœurs Connectés”, an event which was organized by Hespérides Arts et Cultures.

Founded by artist and event producer Laila Gouchi, the organization positions itself as a guardian of artistic riches with a perspective of dialogue and inclusion for the celebration of cosmopolitanism in Quebec and Canada.

Madame Gouchi took the opportunity to highlight the presence of numerous dignitaries at this concert which was organized under the honorary presidency of the Member of Parliament for Nelligan, Mr. Monsef Derraji.

Hespérides Arts et Cultures, chose to organize this first artistic event during the month of March to celebrate women’s rights and honor the humanitarian action of two of them.

Madam Ghada Nasr, President of the Cancer Canada Lebanon Association (A2CL) and Doctor Asmae Boutaleb Co-founder of the Moroccan-Canadian Organization for Children’s and Women’s Health (OMCSEF) were honored for their professional career and their exceptional commitments to humanitarian action.

It is therefore under the artistic direction of the maestria Soukaina Aouatif that Abir El Abed (Morocco), Kathia Rock (Innue), Yara Georgeos (Syria) and Maalem Salamate Gnawa (Morocco) took the stage of the Salle Pauline-Julien Abir El Abed (Morocco).

The show which inspired intercultural dialogue brought together artists with diverse influences who offered for the occasion pieces from the Andalusian, Cherki, Gnawi, French, English and Innu repertoire.

This inspiring fusion of genres reflects Montreal, which stands out as a crossroads of cultures through its openness and artistic freshness.
